Once you have your supplies, it's important to prep your skin properly. Start by thoroughly cleansing your face and making sure there's no makeup or moisturizer on your eyebrows. This will help the wax adhere better. You can also apply a pre-wax oil to help protect your skin. When it comes to the wax itself, I always recommend using hard wax.

This type of wax is gentler on the skin and allows you to take multiple passes to clean up hairs, with no more than two passes. Heat the wax according to the instructions on the package, making sure it has the consistency of honey. Then, use the wooden applicator to apply a thin layer of wax to your eyebrow, making sure to apply it in the direction of hair growth. Wait until the wax is solid to the touch, hold your skin taut, and quickly pull the strip off in the opposite direction of hair growth. It's important to work in small sections, starting with the outer corner, inner corner, outer corner, inner corner, and middle. It's also a good idea to fill in your eyebrows before waxing, so you can see the shape you are trying to achieve.

After you're finished waxing, apply a post-wax oil to help soothe and moisturize your skin. I like to add the additional step of applying pure aloe vera, this helps calm and reduce redness! You can also use a brow serum to help promote growth. I like to use castor oil to keep my brows looking healthy.
